Hi! We're Byrdie and Jared. We love making bread and building community. We started this project in order to weave the two together, and we're thrilled you stopped by to check us out.
The Bakery
We are small bakery in Troy, NY that is focused on baking excellent sourdough breads. Sourdough provides the backbone for our family's diet, as it has for other families for thousands of years. The fermentation process helps to make the bread more digestible, unlocks nutrients, and brings out the very best the grain has to offer. We focus on organic ingredients grown within 200 miles of our bakery, and do our very best to build relationships directly with the farmers and producers who supply the bakery.

Our bread is made to order, and we offer pick-up in Troy, NY Tuesday through Saturday. Orders are typically ready for pickup at noon; we'll send you a notification as soon as we've dropped it off.
We source our ingredients as locally as practical, and are always trying to find new ways to support our neighboring farms, mills, and friends.
