Hi! We're Byrdie and Jared. We love making bread and building community. We started this project in order to weave the two together, and we're thrilled you stopped by to check us out. 

We are small bakery in Troy, NY that is focused on baking two breads: sourdough and challah. Why these two? Sourdough provides the backbone for our family's diet, as it has for other families for thousands of years. While sourdough provides the structure, challah brings a softness and delicacy to life. Lightly sweet, fluffy, and perfectly suited to accompany your morning coffee, challah makes life more beautiful.

Our bread is made to order, and we offer pick-up in Troy, NY Tue-Sat. Orders are typically ready for pickup at 10am; we'll send you a notification as soon as we've dropped it off. 

We source our ingredients as locally as practical, and are always trying to find new ways to support our neighboring farms, mills, and friends.
